liturgical materials and ministers for the celebration of Mass. |
|
| The
ministry of the usher is of great importance at the weekend and Holy
Day Masses at St. Therese. The ushers greet parishioners as they arrive
at church, answer any questions, help those with special needs and take
up the collection. Ushers assist in accommodating the assembly and the
church environment. It is a ministry open to both men and women (18
years and older) of our parish who wish to serve in this capacity. |
|
| Any
member of the parish can take an active role in the Mass by carrying
up the Offertory Gifts. The ushers may ask you to bring up the gifts.
We hope that you will accept this honor and privilege. |
|
| The
Music Ministry at St. Therese includes that of leading the singing and
accompanying for weekend and Holy Day Masses. We are also proud of our
participation in the bilingual celebrations. Our cantors and accompanists
are just ordinary people like you, who recognize the gifts God has given
them and want to enhance the Mass and participation of the assembly
through music. If you are able to play any of the musical instruments,
especially piano, organ, or guitar please consider using your talents
through this ministry. If you are a strong singer and would like to
be a cantor (song leader) at Mass, please call the church office. |

| Adult
Choir |
|
| The
Adult Choir sings primarily at the 10:00 am Sunday Mass, special Holy
Days and events such as Holy Week liturgies, and midnight Mass Christmas
Eve. They volunteer their time to sing at community events. Practice
is every Thursday evening at 6:30 pm in the church. Those who belong
to the choir find it a special way of ministering, using their talents,
and praising God in song. It is also a time to socialize and get to
know other members of the parish. If you are interested in using your
talent to praise the Lord, you are welcome to join us. |
|
