On Saturday night, April 29, 2006, 200 parishioners of St. Therese Catholic Church gathered together to share community amidst a host of diverse cuisine: Mexico, El Salvadore, Haiti, Germany, France, Ireland, Japan, USA, Poland, Croatia, Phillipines and even New Mexico! Thanks to Pete Moreno and his team for organizing & implementing this beautiful opportunity for our Church community to dine together and share our different cultures.
The evening wound up to beautiful music from
Mexico ("Cielito Lindo"), Fr. Angel's magical guitar
and voice ("Stand By Me", and a Spanish rumba) and Fr.
Bert's "Cotton Fields Back Home" (well, the first verse).
Several lucky parishioners walked away with prizes from the raffle.
Of course, all of us were lucky to have shared the evening together.
