Dear Parishioners:
ATTENTION!!! PARISH
MISSION PARISH MISSION!! This week, March 5-8, Monday thru
Thursday we are having a Lenten Mission! Waldemar Perez
a longtime Liturgist and Pastoral Minister here in the Archdiocese
of Denver is our mission director. Waldemar came several
years ago with his
confrere Gerard DiMartini, to give a workshop at St. Therese on
Music and Liturgical Environment. Well they will both be back
to lead us on a Journey of Faith as we walk with some of
the great men and women in church history. We will hear reflections
on the lives of these grace-filled giants. Do we still live in
their footsteps? Are we modeling their example and carrying on
their spiritual legacy? An explanation of our church Symbols of
Ashes, Water, & Oil will also be integrated into the mission
talks. This is a blessed opportunity to examine our spiritual
lives this Lent, and for years to come. How is your Lent going?
Need a prayerful-power push? This is a great gift being offered
to our parish community this year so PLEASE COME!! Each
day (Mon.-Thurs.) there will be a presentation in English from
1:30-3pm. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday night there will be a presentation
in Spanish from 7-8:30pm. On Wednesday evening the 7th, we will
have a bilingual Communal Reconciliation Service at 7pm for everyone.
Priests from our local parishes will join us that night. Baskets
for a Free Will Offering will be present in the church. May God
bless and guide you this holy Lenten Season in your journey of
conversion and renewal with Him! See you at the Mission!!
